 Wilfred James Pshednowek

September 6, 1940 – March 28, 2018

Wilfred collapsed Sunday evening in Selkirk, Manitoba and passed away on Wednesday, March 28 in the ICU at Health Sciences Centre.

Left surviving is his brother Hubert Parker (Linda) in Selkirk and sister Florence Cybulski (John) in Calgary. “Uncle Willie“ leaves many nieces and nephews across Canada, as well as many, many good friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Doris Pshednowek of East Selkirk; brother Theodore Parker and his wife Agnes, and sister Grace Maradyn and her husband Jack.

He grew up and went to school in East Selkirk and enjoyed wildlife hunting, especially for deer.

While working as a garage mechanic in the Selkirk area, he came in contact with many people in this area and surrounding areas.

Donations may be send to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or charity of your choice.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 at the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 269 Jemima Street,Selkirk, with Fr. Stan Gacek and Fr. Jerry Talarski officiating.
