William Richardson Obituary

William Richardson Obituary

WILLIAM DUGAL RICHARDSON

William passed suddenly on February 23rd, 2026 at the age of 65.

He was born and raised in the town of Pine Falls and was a third- generation mill worker at the Pine Falls Paper Mill. He then went on to enjoy a career at Red River College.

He leaves behind his son (Garrett) in Manitoba, and his son (Miles) in Labrador, as well as his grandchildren.

William struggled with addiction throughout his life, but had overcome and was recently celebrating two years of sobriety.  He was happy to be living a simple, yet fulfilling, life in Winnipeg.

The Richardson family would like to thank his AA group and his sponsor for their friendship, care and support and best wishes for a continued journey of success.

Sobriety was the best gift he ever gave himself and, in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Rest in peace
