Obituary

William Clark Linklater (Bill)

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Bill on Sunday, August 27,2023.

Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his sisters, Noreen (Nonie) Gudmundson (Merv) and their children Noreen (Warren), Tim (Andria) and Michelle (Neal); Barb Linklater (Stig Rensfelt) and their children Chris (Chantal), Laura, Karin (Dave) and Eric (Brittany); nieces and nephew Dawn (Donnie), Lisa (Ray) and Cody and (Brie); great nieces and nephews, Cassie, Brittany, Jayce, Joshua, Owen, Annalea, Ryan, Mia, and Patrick; great great niece Klayton.

Bill is now reunited with mom and dad Kenny and Noreen Linklater, brother Larry and his wife Brenda, and sister Bobie and her daughter Jesselyn.

Bill grew up in Cloverdale and loved everything outdoors, where he enjoyed dirt biking and his horses. He was also an avid hunter and angler, which led to many delicious Pickerel dinners. His lifelong job was working at Gerdau Manitoba which he thoroughly enjoyed and made many friendships. In the past few years, many health challenges were put in front of him, but he always looked forward to the day he could once again return to work.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cloverdale United Cemetery.

We will miss you Bill and you will forever be in our hearts.
