Sincere condolences to the family. Rest in peace John my friend. I was born and raised in St PetersParish MB. near the historic Old Stone Church. As teenagers John and I became friends for only a brief period of time. In 1952 after joining the Navy, by chance I met John on a downtown street in Victoria BC This was the last time we met. I often thought about John as I served a tour of duty in the war in Korea and continued to serve a thirty three year career in the Navy and retiring in Victoria BC, After reading the obituary for John I am pleased to see he had a wonderful family and enjoyed his life and his career.
